Kamala Harris is Biden's VP pick. Hardly surprising but as Sarah Haider and many would point out, it's a rather safe and......fine pick. Also, it is a historic pick because Vice President Harris (has a ring to it, nice) will become the first Black women to be a Vice President. 

Will Progressive satisfy with the pick? Nina Turner would be a better pick, to be honest. 

Am I satisfy with the pick? Not really but I am not even a US citizen so why bother.

But 

Personally, I am glad that it's Kamala Harris and not someone worse like Gretchen Whitmer.

A Biden-Harris ticket is really meh from the perspective of the progressive left. Just imagine a Sanders-Turner ticket or even Sanders-Warren or heck, Sanders-Yang ticket. Yet, Biden is the one emerge as the Democrat presidential candidate. If that is what the American people, or rather the DNC wants, is it what it is. Biden-Harris will have to be one to defeat Trump-Pence in the November election. Moreover, Kamala Harris is a big name. Not sure whether it will play an important role in the election but pretty sure none of you can remember Hillary Clinton's VP pick without looking up online, neither could I (Who is Tim Kaine?).  

If DNC truly believes their analysis and calculation, Biden-Harris can pull most of the Black voters and even some Republicans and Never-Trumpers. While Progressives are reluctant to vote for Biden, many will stick with the Democratic party because persuading Biden slightly to the left is easier than pressuring Trump to uphold democratic and true US values.  

Some will say Kamala Harris 'is a cop' but this is perhaps what Biden and the DNC try to play into. Trump cannot use the anti-cop rhetoric because Kamala Harris 'is a cop'. Therefore, the Trump PR@rhetoric machine will have to use other rhetoric and fear-mongering to attack Biden-Harris e.g.: all will be forced to learn Chinese if Trump loses the election this November (even though his grandaughter is learning Chinese and CCP propaganda media did a report on it).  

All the best Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And once again:
